The Scenic Rim is a beautiful destination, with great events throughout the year that connect us to our land and our heritage.
This Sunday 2nd April the Scenic Rim opens it's farm's gates to the public from 9am to 3pm. This foodie road trip is bursting with fresh produce and locally handcrafted artisan goods, there is something for everyone along the way.
Bring the kids to meet camels, dairy cows and sheep. Some venues are dog friendly, please check ahead of time.
You'll get to meet the friendly farmers and producers who are passionate about their produce. There are fantastic places for morning tea and lunch, set in the green valleys and stunning mountain vistas that makes this one of the most beautiful regions on earth. This is an excellent day out for passionate foodies looking for new experiences, from mushrooms to camel milk and so much more. Don't forget to bring your esky to stop up on all this regional goodness!

June is the Clydesdale Spectacular in Boonah with associated Scottish heritage events. Come and meet these magnificent heavy horses that helped build our region. There will be lots of associated country trades and crafts demonstrations, and market stalls as well.
June and July is Scenic Rim Eat Local Month - stay tuned to book into one of the many venues and experience great food and wines from this region in lazy long lunches and scrumptious dinners. A must for all foodies!
October, the Scenic Rim Brewery celebrates Oktoberfest throughout October, so dust off your lederhosen!
Kalbar Country Day is also on in October, with a massive country market and plenty of family entertainment throughout the day.
